Since joining Venator Partners over eight years ago, I’ve successfully completed numerous searches for top-performers in sales, sales engineering and professional services. My clients are typically high tech leaders focused on commercial and/or Federal government applications for Data Analytics, Communications, Storage, Information Technology, and Security.
I’m a former U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer and senior executive within Navy EOD commands. I bring over 20 years experience in organizational leadership and personnel development forged in one of the most demanding of professional environments. Through my personal experience and the help of some outstanding mentors, I came to realize I must develop the ability necessary to insure I placed the right people in the right roles. When you made personnel mistakes in my former profession, the results could go far beyond the loss of money; it could prove to be deadly.
Once I decided to transition to a new career, I knew I wanted to take what I’d learned, at times under very extreme circumstances, and apply it in a new way. It had to be something that would utilize my passion for people and organizational development, a role where I could continue to have a significant impact on other individuals and the organizations in which they work. I found that role here.
Having worked with some of the “best-of-the-best” in my previous professional life, I’ve learned that successful individuals in the business world possess similar traits to my former colleagues. That is, they’re creative, innovative, risk-takers, passionate; hard workers that don’t make excuses and who want to be surrounded by others who share similar values and qualities. These are the same values and qualities that I bring to my work.
