Amir Eldad
Vice President
I bring experience in the networking, security, system management, and software infrastructure industries to Venator Partners and its clients. Prior to joining the firm as an executive recruiter, my primary focus was on leading the penetration of the U.S. market for non-U.S. headquartered start-ups. Acquiring tier-one customers and recruiting top-tier talent while bridging the multi-national cultural gap in order to build a leadership position in new markets has been a corner stone of my mode of operation and a key element of my success.
Building on Venator Partners’ proven track record of recruiting U.S.-based executives for non-U.S. companies that are establishing or expanding their presence in the U.S., I’m able to offer my clients more guidance and deliver the right talent necessary for them to achieve their goals in the U.S.
During the late 80s / early 90s - while residing in Israel and later France - I helped NASDAQ-traded Fibronics to become a market leader in Europe. While based in Boston, I was the VP Sales & Marketing of NiceCom (a leader in ATM switching; acquired by 3Com). I led a worldwide team of 30 professionals that - during the mid 90s - successfully penetrated the U.S. and global markets, achieving a $200M sales level within just a few years.
Most recently, I turned to entrepreneurial roles such as Founder and GM of an internal startup / new division within 3Com, and Co-founder / President of Aternity, a Boston / Tel Aviv-based provider of application performance management software.
I live in the greater Boston area, but spend a significant amount of time in Israel, France, and other countries to enable me to stay close to my clients. I hold a degree in Computer Science from the Technion - the Israel Institute of Technology.
